Zamoyski Brandy SPECIAL V.S.O.P. has been created in exceptional 7-stage distillation of selected young wine varieties \u2013 Green Veltliner and Rizling. Young wine of these varieties is characterised by its distinctive taste and aroma. The wine is light and fresh, which significantly affects the aroma and taste of the distillate.<\/p>\n
The product matures for at least 8 years in 300 litre barrels made of European Oak (Quercus Robur), which has grown at an altitude of 800 m above sea level.
\nTo achieve the uniqueness of the distillate, levelling takes place in wooden vats made of French Oak.<\/p>\n
Another attribute is the effect of open storage space, in which the year round temperature ranges from -25\u00b0C up to + 25\u00b0C. Barrels, at different temperatures, impart different intensities of flavours and aromas to the brandy, which further enriches the brandy taste itself.
\nTo achieve the purity of the brandy from a physical -chemical point of view, a unique filtration equipment is used, which is a strictly protected company secret.<\/p>\n
Only 100% natural raw ingredients were used for the production of Zamoyski Brandy SPECIAL V.S.O.P.<\/p>\n
Brandy offers the aroma of raisins and vanilla, and a soft smoothness with a fresh fruity whiff.<\/p>\n
The aristocratic family of Zamoyski\u00a0were\u00a0the last owners of the \u013dubov\u0148a\u00a0castle.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Andrzej\u00a0Przemyslaw\u00a0Zamoyski\u00a0was astonished by the nature of Northern\u00a0Spi\u0161\u00a0region with its unique water resources flowing out from the heart\u00a0of the High Tatras\u00a0mountains. <\/p>\n
In 1882, he decided to buy the castle dominion together with the nearby spa\u00a0Vy\u0161n\u00e9\u00a0Ru\u017ebachy.\u00a0Two years later in Paris,\u00a0Andrzej\u00a0married\u00a0Carolina de Bourbon, titled as \u201eThe Princess of Two\u00a0Sicilies\u201c. Out of the love for her husband she agreed to move and to live in the Spi\u0161\u00a0region. Together with a wealthy dowry she brought to the \u013dubov\u0148a\u00a0castle the new alcohol distillation trend, and the\u00a0new and yet unknown beverage – brandy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u00b4s been said that wine imported to the castle dominion from the princess\u00b4 homeland encouraged\u00a0local people to make distillate out of it, trying to imitate noble brandy of royal taste and aroma.\u00a0With its exceptional qualities this brandy acquired a\u00a0respectable place on\u00a0the castle\u00a0table during all major negotiations and celebrations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
